Course Details

• Dates: Monday nights, Oct 06 – Nov 10, 2025 (6:30 – 8:30 p.m.)
• Location: Medford Library – Adams Conference Room (205 S Central Ave, Medford, OR 97501)
• Ages: High‑school students (Grades 9–12)
• Class Size: 6 – 30 students (approximately 12 : 1 student‑to‑mentor ratio during labs)
• Instructor: Tim Hardy + adult assistant
• Tuition:• For ages 16-24, due to funding from Southern Oregon Youth Works, cost is only $50 for the six week course. You will be required to fill out some paperwork for Southern Oregon Youth Works before the first day of class. It takes about an hour to fill out the paperwork. For any students younger than that, cost is $480. If cost is a problem, let us know and there may be scholarships available. — see Payment & Cancellation below for more details.
• Included: We use free versions of Ai models, certification if desired and all requirements are met, and light snacks.

Tim Hardy is the founder of Smart Cascadia AI Solutions. He built Smart Cascadia using AI to consult for small businesses and nonprofits, taught computer‑science and graphic‑design courses at Rogue Community College, and has 25 + years of global youth‑work experience. His passion: giving people what feels like superpowers with AI.

Payment & Cancellation

• Reserve your seat by making full payment, which is $50 for ages 16-24 and $480 for younger students. Tuition is refunded if Smart Cascadia cancels the class or does not accept your registration.
• Need to cancel?• Cancel on or before Sept 29 → 100 % of tuition paid (minus a $50 non‑refundable deposit) returned. No refunds after Sept 29 (venue & materials committed).
• Low‑Enrollment Guarantee: If fewer than 6 students enroll by Sept 29, all payments—including deposits—are refunded in full.
