Terms of Service OFS Tree Service LLC · Effective September 11, 2026 These terms apply to the use of this website and to tree care services provided by OFS Tree Service LLC. By requesting an estimate, booking an appointment, or engaging us to perform work, you agree to these terms. 1. About OFS Tree Service OFS Tree Service LLC is a licensed, bonded and insured tree care company based at 5540 Rogue River Dr, Eagle Point, Oregon 97524, operating under Oregon Construction Contractors Board licence CCB #245166. We serve Jackson County and Josephine County, Oregon. 2. Services We provide tree removal, trimming and pruning, clearance trimming, stump grinding, storm and emergency response, insurance-related tree damage work, fire fuel reduction and defensible space clearing, brush and vegetation clearing, hedge and shrub trimming, and free on-site evaluations. 3. Answering Service and Call Handling Please read before calling. Calls to our business line may be answered by an automated virtual receptionist that can take your details and schedule a free on-site estimate. If you ask whether you are speaking with a person or an automated system, you will be told honestly. Calls may be recorded or transcribed for quality and record-keeping. If you do not wish to be recorded, tell us at the start of the call and we will make alternative arrangements, or you may contact us by email instead. The virtual receptionist can book free on-site estimates only. It cannot schedule tree work, commit to a price, or confirm crew availability. All actual work is confirmed by OFS Tree Service directly. 4. Estimates and Quotes On-site estimates are free and carry no obligation. Estimates are based on conditions visible at the time of inspection. If conditions differ once work begins — concealed decay, unexpected access limitations, hidden utilities, or changes you request — we will inform you and agree any revised price with you before continuing. Prices quoted verbally or in writing are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. We do not quote prices over the phone or by text message, because every tree and property is different. 5. Scheduling, Access and Cancellation Appointments require a minimum of 24 hours notice to book. Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule. You are responsible for ensuring safe and lawful access to the property and the work area, and for confirming you have authority to have the work performed. Please move vehicles and movable property clear of the work area before the crew arrives. Weather and safety conditions may require us to reschedule. We will contact you as early as possible when this happens. 6. Payment Payment is due on completion of the work unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We accept cash, check and card. Any deposit, financing, or payment arrangement must be agreed in writing in advance. 7. SMS Communications and Consent When you call our business line and book a free on-site estimate, our receptionist will ask whether you would like a text confirmation of your appointment details. If you say yes, you consent to receive text messages from OFS Tree Service LLC. You may also give your phone number and consent through the contact form on this website. If you decline, or you are on a landline, we will not text you. You may receive appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, and one-to-one follow-up messages about your estimate or job. Opting out of text messages will not affect your ability to use our services in any other way. You must be at least 18 years old, and the account holder or an authorized user of the phone number you give us, to consent to receive text messages. Mobile information and SMS consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information shared with service providers in direct support of your request — such as message delivery providers — is permitted only for the purpose of providing that service. We send only transactional messages relating to your enquiry or appointment. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages. 8. Message Delivery We cannot guarantee that a text message will arrive, or arrive on time. Delivery depends on your mobile carrier, your device, and network conditions outside our control, and carriers may filter or block messages. Please do not treat a text message as your only record of an appointment. If you have not received a confirmation, or you are unsure of your appointment time, call us on (541) 727-8025. 9. Safety and Emergency Situations Tree work is hazardous. Do not approach, touch, cut, or attempt to move a damaged or fallen tree, a hanging limb, or anything in contact with a power line. If there is immediate danger to people, a downed or contacted power line, or a fire, call 911 or your utility company first. We cannot assess hazards or confirm that a situation is safe over the phone or by text, and nothing said by our answering service should be treated as a safety assessment. 10. Licensing and Insurance OFS Tree Service LLC is licensed, bonded and insured in the State of Oregon under CCB #245166. Proof of insurance is available on request. 11. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability We perform our work with reasonable skill and care in line with accepted industry practice. Except as required by law, our services are provided without further warranties of any kind. Trees are living things and their condition cannot be fully known from external inspection. We are not liable for the future health, stability, or survival of any tree we treat or leave standing, nor for pre-existing damage or defects not reasonably discoverable during inspection. To the fullest extent permitted by Oregon law, our total liability arising out of any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. 12. Website Use You agree not to use this website to transmit false or misleading information, to interfere with its operation, or to attempt unauthorized access to any part of our systems. Content on this site is provided for general information and does not constitute a quote or a guarantee of availability. 13. Privacy Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. 14. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Jackson County, Oregon. 15. Changes to These Terms We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. The version in effect when you engage us is the version that applies to that work. 16.
