SMART CASCADIA LLC ("Smart Cascadia," "we," "us," or "our") provides Smart Sites, a website design and build service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with that service. Our AI Receptionist product is covered by a separate Privacy Policy.

To design and build your website, we collect information you provide directly, including:

• Business name, contact name, email address, and phone number
• Business address, hours, services offered, and service area
• Logos, photos, and written content you supply for use on your site
• Your domain name and registrar details, if you ask us to help connect or register a domain
• Payment information you submit through Stripe (Smart Cascadia does not store your card details — see Section 5)

We may also collect standard website usage data (pages visited, time on site) through analytics tools when you visit smartcascadia.com or your own site.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To design, build, and maintain the website you've purchased
• To communicate with you about the build process, revisions, and go-live steps
• To process payment for the build fee and ongoing hosting
• To provide the monthly content updates included in your hosting plan

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Sharing and Sub-Processors

• Stripe: processes payment for the build fee and monthly hosting. See stripe.com/privacy.
• Vercel: hosts your built website. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Your domain registrar: if you register a new domain through us, it is registered directly in your name with your chosen registrar — we never take ownership of it.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

5. Data Retention

Content you provide (logos, photos, copy, business details) is retained for as long as we host your site. If you cancel hosting, we provide you a full copy of your site files and delete our hosted copy within a reasonable period upon request.

6. Your Rights

• Request access to, or correction of, the information we hold about you
• Request deletion of your information, once any active hosting or build relationship ends

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Payment is processed entirely through Stripe — we never see or store full card numbers. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated to active hosting clients at least 30 days before taking effect.
