Terms of Service  |  Effective Date: July 30, 2026  |  SMART CASCADIA LLC

1. The Services

Smart Cascadia LLC (“Smart Cascadia,” “we,” “us”) provides two services under the Website Quick-Build offer, purchased separately:

• The Build — a one-time custom website design and build, $700, billed once.
• Hosting & Updates — ongoing hosting, uptime, and up to two (2) content updates per month for the site built under The Build, $25/month, no fixed term.

Together, “the Services.” The person or business purchasing the Services is “Client.”

2. Payment

• The $700 Build fee is due in full, via the Stripe payment link provided, before Smart Cascadia connects the finished site to Client’s real domain and finalizes any Client-requested customizations.
• The $25/month Hosting fee begins billing on the site’s go-live date and recurs monthly with no minimum term. There is no bundled discount and no long-term contract for either fee.
• Client is separately responsible for any domain registration or renewal fees charged by Client’s own domain registrar (see Section 5) — these are not part of either Smart Cascadia fee.

3. The Build Process

• Each site is designed to keep Client’s existing logo, color palette, and brand identity recognizable, while improving layout, typography, page speed, and conversion design (“recognizably you, but better”).
• Client may request up to two (2) rounds of revisions to the site’s copy, images, or minor layout details before go-live. Additional revision rounds beyond the two included are billed at $75 per round.
• Smart Cascadia builds each site following current SEO best practices (page structure, meta tags, mobile responsiveness, page speed) but does not guarantee any specific search ranking, traffic, or lead-volume outcome.

4. Ownership & Hosting

• Once the $700 Build fee is paid in full, Client owns the completed website — its design, code, and content — outright.
• Hosting (uptime and keeping the site live at Client’s domain) is a separate, optional monthly service at $25/month, with no minimum term.
• Hosting includes up to two (2) content updates per month — for example, swapping a photo, updating business hours, or adding a short promotion — completed within two (2) business days of request. Larger changes, such as new pages or a full redesign, are outside this allowance and quoted separately.
• Clients on Hosting for twelve (12) consecutive months receive one complimentary content refresh (an updated round of photos and copy) at no additional charge.
• If Client cancels Hosting, Smart Cascadia will take the live version offline, but will provide Client a full copy of the site files at no charge so Client can host it elsewhere if they choose.
• Client’s domain name is, and always has been, exclusively Client’s — see Section 5.

5. Domain Name

• Client retains full, sole ownership of their domain name at all times. Smart Cascadia will never request or accept a transfer of Client’s domain into Smart Cascadia’s own registrar account.
• If Client already owns a domain, going live means pointing it at Smart Cascadia’s hosting via a DNS record (an A record or CNAME) inside Client’s own registrar account — typically a short screen-share, a few minutes of work.
• If Client does not yet own a domain, Smart Cascadia can register one on Client’s behalf, but it will be registered in Client’s name with Client as the sole account owner and payer of any registrar renewal fees.

6. No Guarantee of Results

Smart Cascadia does not guarantee any specific amount of website traffic, search engine ranking, lead volume, or revenue as a result of the Services. SEO and marketing outcomes depend on many factors outside Smart Cascadia’s control.

7. Term, Cancellation & Refunds

• Smart Cascadia builds and demonstrates a finished website to Client before any payment is made — Client is shown the actual site, not a proposal, before deciding to buy. Because of this, the $700 Build fee is non-refundable once paid.
• Hosting has no minimum term. Client may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month, with no partial-month refund.
• Smart Cascadia may decline to continue the Services for any client at its discretion, with a pro-rated refund of any unused, already-paid Hosting period.

8. Assets & Content License

• Client grants Smart Cascadia a limited license to use Client-provided logos, photos, copy, and business information solely to design, build, and operate Client’s website.
• Stock photography sourced by Smart Cascadia (for example, via Pexels) is used under that provider’s applicable free commercial-use license, and remains subject to that provider’s terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Smart Cascadia’s total liability arising from the Services is limited to the amount Client has paid Smart Cascadia in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Smart Cascadia is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business opportunities.

10. Governing Law & Severability

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

11. Changes to These Terms

Smart Cascadia may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active Hosting clients at least 30 days before taking effect.
